Pamela Houston BA (Hons), has over 25 years’ experience in private, public and voluntary/ community sectors across strategic planning/ agile operations management, income generation through sales, grant, investment and sponsorship, project/ budgetary management, product/ service development, brand development and marketing, PR, BID management, governance, stakeholder engagement, risk management, monitoring and assessment, customer service and quality management.
Pamela has a Degree in Tourism from Bournemouth University, which is a global industry leader in the field of tourism and hospitality. She has specialist knowledge in manufacturing, engineering, infrastructure planning and construction, tourism, hospitality, event planning and sustainable development. During her career, she has acted as Chief Executive of an economic development agency, all Ireland ferry operator, tour operator, sales, marketing and manufacturing operations manager.
Peter Houston HND, Hotel, Catering & Institutional Management, Ulster University, has over 40 years’ experience in the hospitality & leisure entertainment sectors across hotel group management, entertainment venues, catering services, staff recruitment, management & training, health and safety & new business start-up.
Peter has worked in smaller family owned independent boutique hotels up to larger hotel groups; advising them across all hospitality departments in how to grow sales, reduce costs, improve service, train and retain staff. He has experience within the catering sectors, entertainment and leisure groups as well as new hospitality start-up businesses. He can advise on recruiting, staff training and creating a motivated workforce.
