The newly established Carlingford Lough Ferry which is Frazer Ferries Ltd latest addition to their fleet was launched in July 2017.
This strategic infrastructure project of a new cross border ferry on Carlingford was launched in July 2017. It required major community, private and public stakeholder engagement and operations planning as the ferry operated daily on a cross border basis within both jurisdictions of Ireland and N Ireland. It was required to comply with dual jurisdictions legal and operational requirements and governance issues.
The group’s brand was developed across all three ferries, while retaining individual identities which reflected their locations and heritage. Promotional brochures were designed, identifying, and profiling many local visitor attractions & activities, giving the passengers many reasons to travel.
These were part of an integrated marketing action plan delivered across a range of media, including social media, website, PR & advertising, signage, radio & TV coverage, and tourism stakeholder engagement. Over 100,000 passengers have been carried in the first six months of operation.
